8. House/Home
Oh what a pretty thing,
flying all around me
I'd really like to meet her, but I'm
afraid she will surround me
And I can't have my freedom flying away
I've made some friends here,
we've been through a lot
But now they're all being family men,
and that's something that I'm not
My children are my songs and that's okay
Well a house is not a home, so don't think twice
You ain't losing if you're moving just stay out of sight
And the people left behind they won't
feel lonely for a while
My lover, my lover,
we have seen better years
We may not always be happy
but there's beauty in those tears
Now I am moving on but
it'll be alright
Mother and father,
you brought me to this place
Am I more or less what you
expected when you first looked in my face
I'd like to think that back then
I was a prettier sight
Well a house is not a home, so don't think twice
You ain't losing if you're moving just stay out of sight
And the people left behind they won't
feel lonely for a while
